Update | where I’ve been + Easy Christmas nails!

Hi everyone! First of all, I want to say I am so so sorry that I haven’t been active on this blog for over a year. At first, I just couldn’t think of any ideas on what posts to do, I had no motivation at all. But then, a lot of things started happening in my life that I don’t want to share with everyone, but I just didn’t have the time to even write a short post saying why I’ve been gone.

Now, with the negative part over and done with, how have you all been! I hope you’re all doing well and that you understand why I’ve been gone and aren’t angry at me! I hope you haven’t given up on my blog, as I will start posting again from now on. I had a very strict schedule when I first started this blog, and I just couldn’t keep up with it. So now, I’m going to be a bit more relaxed with my posts, so hopefully it will all work out.

Now enough of that, let’s get on with the Tutorial! This is a really simple design , that anyone can do, as no tools are required. Hope you enjoy!

Here are the polishes I used, from left to right they are:

  • Sally Hansen complete care 4 in 1 treatment (my favourite base and top coat!)
  • OPI nail polish in “cute little vixen” I did a blog post with this polish, so if you want to find out more about it click Here!
  • W7 nail polish in “gold dazzle”

First, I applied my base coat, then 2 coats of the OPI nail polish.

Then, I applied one coat of the gold polish to my whole nail on my ring finger. I applied a generous amount of  the gold polish to the to tips of my other nails, then with the excess nail polish on the brush, I started to drag that nail polish up to the middle of my nail, creating a gradient effect!

I hope you found this tutorial helpful, it’s perfect for any Christmas parties, and anyone can do it! Please comment any ideas you may have for my future blog posts! Have a lovely day. X

Autumn nail polish favourites | Collab with Lucieleannexo

Hey everyone! Today’s post is all about my favourite Autumn/winter nail polishes! This is a Collab with the lovely Lucie Leanne from Lucieleannexo , her blog is absolutely amazing and you should totally check out out!! I love to use dark, burgundy colours during autumn, then glitter nail polishes for winter and Christmas! I have picked my top 5 favourite polishes, so let’s get started!

Here are the nail polishes, from left to right they are:

  • Revlon “sequins”
  • Opi “cute little vixen”
  • Chanel “lotus rouge 455”
  • Ciate paint pot “wait until dark”
  • Essie “Bahama mama”

Starting with the Opi nail polish, “cute little vixen” is a slightly shimmery, metallic red with violet undertones, in natural light, it looks more red toned, but during the evening I found that it looked quite purple. This was perfect with 2 coats.

Next, we have the revlon nail polish in “sequins” this is just a basic gold glitter nail polish, with chunky hex glitter, with some finer gold glitter, in a clear polish. Perfect for on top of a deep colour such as Bahama mama.

Next, we have the Chanel nail polish in “lotus rouge” Personally, I wouldn’t spend €23.50 on another one of their nail polishes, because I know there is probably a drugstore brand that has the same colour at a better price. I didn’t find anything special about the formula, or brush, But this is a really gorgeous almost “blood” red colour. Opaque in 2 coats, and you get 13ml of product!

Now, we have the ciate paint pot in “wait until dark” this is a gorgeous deep purple, with metallic shimmer running through it. I do not have any other colour in my collection like this, I will definitely repurchase this! It’s perfect for this time of year.

Lastly, we have my all time favourite Autumn/winter nail polish! It’s Essie “Bahama mama” I always have this on my nails during this time of year. Essie describe this as a “warm, rich, creamy, deep plum” and I think that is the perfect description of this polish! I definitely recommend this to everyone, and I will continue to repurchase this every year!
I hope you all enjoyed this post, and if you want a full review on any of those nail polishes above, just let me know in the comments! Have a great day! πŸ™‚ x

      W7 nail products review

Hi everyone! So today im going to be reviewing a few products from the brand W7! I have a few of their nail polish’s already that I love, so when I was sent to try out these products, I was delighted! I received a nail polish remover, 3 polishes, and a nail strengthener. Also, sorry that I’ve been MIA the past week, I just went back to school, and I’ve had so much work to do! So I will be posting every weekend from now on. 😊

Here are the 3 polishes I was sent to try out, a cobalt blue, a metallic silver, and a top coat.

I really love this blue polish! It’s a lot like “Barry M felt hi shine in blue grape” but not as bright. It was fully opaque in 2 coats, and had a lovely shine, before I applied the top coat. (the pics above are with the top coat)

This silver is soooo pretty! It was opaque in 1 coat, but I did 2 coats anywayπŸ˜‰ I needed a new silver nail polish, so this is going to be used in a few of my upcoming nail art tutorials! I used the top coat on this silver aswell, as I found the colour a bit flat with out it.

Here is the next product, a “nail builder” I have quite strong long nails, as it runs In my family, but I’m really excited to try this out! I will post another review in about a months time, just giving you all an update on how this product worked.

Finally, we have the nail polish remover! I love using these types of removers, Im currently using the bourjois remover, and this is just as good! It doesn’t take off glitter polishes very well, but I expected that, as glitter is such a pain to get off!!

Overall, I’m really happy with the W7 nail polishes, etc. I will definitely be expanding my range of their products, as they’re such great value for money!! Here’s a link to there website, where you can buy all these products: W7 cosmetics.

I hope you all have a great day, and I have a collab post coming next Saturday, so keep your eyes peeled! πŸ˜‰ Thanks for reading!!

MoYou Nails review | Nail art stamping

Hi everyone! I received a package from MoYou nails awhile ago to review, so here it is! I was very impressed with how easy the stamping process was, as this was my first time ever nail art stamping!

Here are the 5 different plates I received.  In the package, I also received a catalogue from them, a soft stamper, and a little black scraper, to help wipe away excess nail polish.

This is the plate I chose. Unfortunately the stamping plate didn’t have a name or number on it, but this is the one with a tinker bell, unicorn and stars etc.

So first I applied a base coat to my nails, and then this pink opi nail polish called “la Paz itively hot”

The stamping process was really easy. First, you apply a thick layer of polish over the design you want, then you get your scraper and wipe away the excess polish. Then as quickly as possible, get your stamper and roll it on top of the design, then roll it on to your nail. This process took about 20 seconds all together.

I chose the floral print on the stamping plate, and used my white Essie polish (“blanc”) for the design. Then, I applied a pink glitter nail polish from W7 which does not have a name, and applied it on top of the pink.

Overall, im really happy with these MoYou products, and I will definitely be buying more stamping things! Here is there website where you can buy these products, and the plates that I used.

I hope you all enjoyed this review/tutorial, and I have a W7 products review coming up soon! πŸ˜‰ have a great day x

Easy Turquoise glitter nail art tutorial

Hi everyone! Todays tutorial is a really quick and pretty silver glitter design. I think this glitter design is perfect for a special occasion, as it’s so simple, but really pretty! You can use any base colour as you want, I just went with the turquoise, because summer isn’t over yet!πŸ˜‰

Here are the polishes I used, from left to right they are:

      • No7 stay perfect base coat
      • Catrice nail polish “Swimbledon”
      • Barry M nail paint “diamond glitter”

First I applied a base coat, then 2 coats of this amazingggg turquoise nail polish by Catrice! You can read my quick review on it here

Then, I cleaned off both sides of the glitter polish brush, so there was barely any polish on it, and I just brushed the tips of my nails with the glitter. That picture above is after one coat of glitter, and I found I needed to do 3 coats, to get it where I wanted it to be.

I hope you all liked this really easy tutorial! If you have any request make sure to comment down below! Thanks for reading, and have a great day! πŸ™‚

      Purple Aztec Nail art tutorialΒ

Hi everyone! Today’s tutorial is a design that I did on my first nail art wheel (you can read it Here) and it was requested by a few of you! Sorry I’m so late posting this, but here’s a tutorial on how to do it!

Here are the polishes I used, from left to right they are:

      • Essie “blanc”
      • NYC “prince street”
      • Essie “licorice”
      • Sally Hansen complete care 4 in 1
      • Barry M nail art pen “black”
      • Nail art brush

First I painted my ring finger and thumb white, and the rest of my nails purple.

Here’s a tutorial on how I did the accent nails! πŸ™‚ I used a Barry m black nail art pen, and a purple nail polish on a nail art brush.

Then I added a top coat, to add some shine, and your finished!!

Here’s a pic with the flash, I absolutely love this purple! It’s kind of like a metallic purple, with a blue undertone.  I hope you all enjoyed this tutorial, and if any of you try out this design, comment down below! Have a great day! πŸ™‚ (btw, it’s my birthday tomorrow!πŸŽ‰)
